La compréhension fd_set dans unix sys/select.h

Je ne suis pas vraiment couramment en C, mais j'ai de l'expérience en Java, C#, Python, Rouille etc. Je suis en train d'essayer d'envelopper fd_set dans la Rouille, mais je n'ai absolument aucune idée de comment lire ce code.

Je suis seulement intéressé dans cette partie:

Jusqu'à présent, j'ai compris que __fd_mask est juste un long int. __NFDBITS me donne juste la taille d'un long int et la multiplie par 8.

Mais je n'ai aucune idée de ce que c'est en train de faire #define FD_SETSIZE __FD_SETSIZE et là je ne sais pas ce que c'est de faire _fd_mask __fds_bits[__FD_SETSIZE /__NFDBITS]; Pour moi FD_SETSIZE n'a pas de valeur du tout. Et je n'ai absolument aucune idée de ce que # define __FDS_BITS(set) ((set)->__fds_bits) est en train de faire.

Je voudrais vraiment voir comment ce code aurait l'air en java ou en c# etc
