Maven - Pourquoi après "mvn clean" j'ai besoin d'exécuter "Maven Update Project" avant "mvn package"?

Je suis en train de faire quelques tests et je voudrais comprendre pourquoi, après l'exécution de la commande mvn clean j'ai besoin pour exécuter "Maven > Projet de mise à Jour" avant de lancer mvn packagesinon, j'obtiens une erreur de compilation dans un de mes dépendances lors de l'emballage.

Il semble que mon projet ne compile pas correctement mon projet avant de lancer "Maven > Projet de mise à Jour", mais je ne suis pas sûr.
Est-ce normal?

• Je suis en utilisant Eclipse et exécuter les commandes {mvn clean} et {mvn package} via "Exécuter en tant qu' > Maven Build".
