Méthode onHandleIntent() n'est pas appelé

Après de nombreuses heures de recherches, je suis enfin de consultation d'aide officielle. Pourquoi ne pas onHandleIntent() appelée? Est-il quelque chose de mal ici?

Dans l'activité principale onCreate():

mService = new Intent(context, xyz.class);
startService(mService);

De l'iss il. Le onStartCommand() est appelée, mais pas onHandleIntent()
