Tomcat possible fuite de mémoire
L'université où je travaille utilise un Tomcat/Railo serveur pour le rendu de pages ColdFusion. Pour environ 6 mois (avant j'ai été embauché) les serveurs ont été au hasard de s'écraser à des moments différents, généralement enflammée service railo_ctl restart a résolu le problème, toutefois, dernièrement, il n'a pas été aussi bien.
Au cours des deux dernières semaines, j'ai rétréci la question, et je suis assez sûr que Tomcat où le problème vient. Je n'ai jamais utilisé de Tomcat, donc je ne sais pas par où commencer. J'ai examiné la Catalina.les fichiers, et regardé l'heure où les serveurs s'est écrasé et a trouvé ce message d'erreur:

Je crois que c'est la racine de votre problème:
Quelque chose dans votre application est à l'origine d'un fil à accrocher, et probablement mourir. Malheureusement, ces types d'erreurs sont extrêmement difficiles à diagnostiquer. Ce que je ferais, si j'étais vous, est de surveiller l'application avec quelque chose comme FusionReactor, et montre en particulier pour les longues demandes en cours d'exécution dans votre application. Cela pourrait fournir des indices quant à ce morceau de votre application est à l'origine de ces problèmes.
Je voudrais installer FusionReactor dans une autre instance de Tomcat afin qu'il puisse surveiller votre application et après le point de c'est la mort. Encore une fois, cela pourrait donner plus d'indices quant à ce exact threads sont suspendus et/ou de mourir.
FusionReactor est un produit commercial, mais est livré avec un essai de 30 jours dans lequel il est pleinement fonctionnel. Si vous allez à la gestion de cette demande, une licence est probablement va être intéressant, mais si vous ne pouvez pas balancer, alors il y a d'autres JVM de surveillance des produits comme VisualVM et la comme. Ils ne sont pas aussi ciblée que FusionReactor, mais encore, ils pourraient être en mesure de vous aider.

Qui devrait vous donner assez bon aperçu de l'utilisation de la mémoire. Vous verrez un motif en dents de scie de l'utilisation de la mémoire, mais c'est comment le bas le bas de la dent de scie modèle va à chaque fois que vous indique si vous avez une fuite. si le creux de la dent de scie sont en marche vers le haut, c'est un signe.

Vous êtes à la recherche pour les threads qui est pile regarde de la même ou similaire dans chaque cliché. Ils vont être coincés. Quelle est la charge CPU comme sur le processus quand il se bloque?
