TypeError: int() argument doit être une chaîne de caractères ou un nombre, non pas le Modèle de la "Instance"

Je suis en train de remplir ma base de données à partir d'un fichier excel à l'aide de xlrd module python.
Voici mon populate_db.py script:

Maintenant quand je lance le populate_db.py script, la sortie sur le terminal lit: "Problème de l'Ajout de l'Emplacement de Menu.". Je vois que le problème existe ici dans le populate_db script: m.emplacement.ajouter(l)
Mais ce queryset est en ligne avec la syntaxe donnée ici: https://docs.djangoproject.com/en/1.8/topics/db/examples/many_to_many/

Après la suppression de la try/except, mon traceback lit:

TypeError: int() argument must be a string or a number, not 'Location' 

Veuillez expliquer ce qui se passe ici.
Et comment ajouter une valeur à la ManyToManyField par l'intermédiaire d'un queryset.

Mais je voudrais quand même savoir la réponse dans mon cas, comme je suis à l'aide d'un ManyToManyField.

S'il vous plaît montrer le plein de sperme. Si vous avez supprimé le try/except ici, je m'attends à voir une erreur sur un tuple, parce que get_or_create retourne (instance, created).
